I am Divvi.This is my first blog post. I have never written any blogs before .Hence do excuse me for any mistakes.
As a child I had immense interest in art and crafts .I could not pursue my interests due to my studies followed by family responsibilities .The time though passed by, did not fade my interests. After such a long time, I finally was able devote some time to my hobby.
Now, that’s when I discovered the art of making greeting cards and jewellery .Initially I started to make them for friends and family. I got so addicted that I could not actually stop making it. It actually helped me to get out of the stress of being a working mom.
I just love the items that I have created .I could not see them just being in a cupboard and see my effort going waste. That’s when I thought of selling online.
Then my research began for a proper site which helps me in all ways, as usual for reasonable or no fees, better site traffic, etc...
I was able to locate Artfire site after a few months of search and trials done. I did set up my store http://www.artfire.com/users/divvi and posted the items there
My intention is not to make a living out of the work I make ,I am already working full time .This store just gave an opportunity to meet more people with similar interests ,show my work and learn more in art.
I am just hoping to learn more and improve myself.
